AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment July 2017 for 236 Senior Residents

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar has released a notification for filling up 236 vacancies of senior residents.  Recruitment of Senior Residents for the tenure period (3 years) as per Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme for the session July 2017 at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.
The online application are invited from Indian citizens as per Government of India's Residency Scheme, for the following tenure posts of Senior Residents in various Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical departments for a maximum period up to 3 years.
Details of vacancy is as follows :

Total no of posts :- 236

Distribution of vacancies :-
UR :-  138
OBC :-  51
SC :-  35
ST :-  12

Pay Scale :- Rs. 15,000-39,100+ Rs.6,600 (Grade Pay)

Eligibility criteria for the senior residents in AIIMS

Educational qualification :- Candidate must possess a Postgraduate Medical degree in MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch in their respective subjects recognized by MCI/Institute of National Importance.

Candidates having DNB Degree have to produce pass certificate along with the online application.

Age limit :- 33 years ( as on 31.07.17 ).

Relaxation in age limit is as follows :-

For OBC candidates :- 3 years.

For SC/ST candidates :- 5 years.

In case of Orthopedics physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates :-
General category :- 05 Years.
For OBC category : 8 Years
For SC/ST :- 10 Years.
Application Fees :-

General / OBC Category:- Rs. 1000/-
SC/ST Category :- RS.500/-
OPH Category :- No application Fees

Reservation :-
Reservation has been provided in accordance with the rules.  Reservation for OPH candidates is 5%.

Selection Procedure :-
  1. The candidate can apply only for one department.
  2. The written examination of 80 marks will be of MCQ in the concerned subject and 20 marks for personal interview will be conducted at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
  3. The date of written examination and/or personal interview will be uploaded in AIIMS, Bhubaneswar website: www.aiimsbhubaneswar.edu.in.

Last date for online applications :- 31 July 2017.

Click on the square labeling as Recruitment.

Then Click on the link Apply Online.

Fill the form accordingly and then submit the form after payment of applicable fees.

Things to be noted by the candidates :

Candidates must visit the website regularly to check the status of their application.

It is mandatory to provide proper e-mail ID and mobile number that are in regular use in the application form.

Accepted/ Rejected application status will be posted in the website regularly. Candidates are advised to check the website and/or e-mail regularly.
