The Future Group is a leading interactive mixed reality technology company
providing tools for TV, broadcast and entertainment
applications in virtual and
augmented reality. For use in TV production, mobile gaming and commercial
solutions, The Future Group's mission is to merge multiple media to create the
next generation of interactive commercial and industrial content. Based in
Oslo, Norway, The Future Group has more than 70 employees and was co-founded by
Jens Petter Høili and Bård-Anders Kasin in 2013.
We are seeking a senior copywriter/scriptwriter/whateverwriter
with over 8 years of intensive communications experience. Expert in concept
creation, brand language development, tone of voice and all aspects of long and
short-form copywriting. You have had intense exposure to brand, digital,
integrated comms, internal comms and video, across B2C and B2B. You have
written for multiple business sectors, but have a real affinity for technology.
When it comes to writing in a
professional capacity, you have very much been there, done that and edited it
into something that turned out to be better than it seemed at first. Versatile,
passionate about wordsmithing and proactive, you have a strong understanding of
business and the amazing impact excellent writing can have in growing a
company. You are also very brave. And comfortable out on the frontier.
You identify the story, you
find the story or you invent the story –and you adapt the telling of it for
multiple channels. You love writing for impact and are committed to delivering
on-brand every time —even if you have to throw away some of the best stuff you
have ever written simply because it doesn’t meet that standard. Brand is your
compass, your salvation and your endless source of inspiration. Basically, you
regard brand as the wellspring of all good things. And you love having a
hand in constructing and strengthening its expression.
You are comfortable interfacing
with top management and have mastered the art of working alongside creative
directors. You are an excellent collaborator, but you also know when to insist.
Masterful command of the English language a necessity.
