TCG is seeking a strong web developer for a 12-18 month, onsite assignment!Job Description:
Design interactive experiences that support the firm's strategy and initiatives. This could include user interfaces and assets for web applications, mobile applications, public websites, and intranet sites
Collaborate with other designers, writers, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and developers to determine user requirements, workflow, and ideal user experience for web applications
Translate requirements into working prototypes and functional user interfaces
Work with technical teams to set direction and ensure that system development is in alignment with desired user experience
Test applications with users in various testing environments to ensure optimal user experience and proper functioning
Manage multiple efforts simultaneously and be a key contributor to large scale firm-wide projects
Bachelor's Degree in Digital Arts, Marketing, eCommerce, Graphic Design, Human Factors, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience is required
Minimum 5-7 years experience in GUI design and front end development
Portfolio of strong creative web design, applying the latest user-centered design principles
Highly proficient in creative software including Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, etc.)
Proficiency in Dreamweaver or other HTML editing software is required
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is required (HTML5 and CSS3 experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of Bootstrap, LESS/Sass, and other Framework technology is preferred
Familiarity with creating mobile-optimized designs, including responsive design techniques
Experience building sites with a Web Content Management System
Proficiency at gathering and interpreting user feedback, formal usability experience a plus
Strong project management skills is required
Ability to gather requirements and design applications to meet business needs
Passion to remain current with the research and best practices in the fields of creative design, usability, human factors, multimedia and interface design
Strong written and verbal communication skills
