SHOW STOPPER

The two streakers that invaded the pitch during the opening match of the WC at Christchurch were stopped before they reached the pitch.  But the one than ran in on Monday was in a class of his own.  He charged in like a fly-half in rugby dodging the security men one after the other and ran across the pitch with unbelievable speed.

     He beat the entire security staff and even leaped over the fencing of the Hagley Oval into the adjoining park.  There was a roar of laughter at the scene of the security personnel losing to a streaker, but an official came in with a somber face and announced..."The police have caught him outside the ground."
